kristinandsanta.jpgkristin.jpgAlthough I only had the pleasure of working with the Santa Comes to Alviso a few times, I will never forget the positive experiences that I enjoyed. This program truly brings the Christmas spirit of Goodwill and Compassion to life. My role was small, but fun. I was one of Santas’ elves, passing out candy canes and presents along with big smiles and a heartfelt “Merry Christmas” and wishes for a Happy New Year. I will always remember how appreciative the parents and children were. Their excitement and happiness was infectious! It was reward enough to see the jubilant expression of the kids. That reward was compounded with the added pleasure of working with Joe and Judy. I always left with the satisfying knowledge that the Joy of Christmas had been given to people who might not have otherwise felt it. I have much admiration for what this program has accomplished over the years, and I look forward to what it will bring to so many in the future. This young lady began her involvement with the Santa Program at the age of 6 when her father was Judy Santiago’s boss and she and her family continue to do their part volunteering and helping others on a regular basis.
