** Lurdes Rivera is a SVAF Board Member. She requested permission to apply for a scholarship from the SVAF Board. She was granted permission by the SVAF Board to apply on the condition she was excluded from all proceedings regarding the Scholarship program. All applications were evaluated by the SVAF Board without any personal information present to ensure fairness in the process.

All previous Scholarship winners were encouraged to apply for a new 2007 Scholarship. Each applicant had to turn in a completed application to be considered for a 2007 Scholarship. All three 2006 Scholarship winners applied and met the qualifications necessary for a 2007 Scholarship. The Santa Visits Alviso Foundation is proud to continue to support these outstanding representatives of Alviso.
