History of the Scholarship Fund.

In June 2006 the Santa Visits Alviso Foundation fulfilled one of its long term goals of giving scholarships to deserving members of the Alviso Community. Due to the generous support of our contributors three outstanding students were each awarded $2500.00 to continue their education and improve their futures.

With the continued generosity of our contributors the Santa Visits Alviso Foundation is pleased to announce the 2007 Scholarship winners. In 2007 we awarded 9 scholarships for $2500.00 each. There were 3 New Students, 3 Outstanding Organizations and the continuation of 3 scholarships for the 2006 Scholarship Winners. See the links below to find out who won those Scholarships.

Our contributors have made these scholarships possible. Without them we would be unable to promote our goal of Education for the Youth of Alviso. The $22,500.00 in scholarships brings us closer to our goal of giving at least $30,000.00 in scholarships a year.

The Santa Visits Alviso Foundation supports many programs including the Santa Visits Alviso Holiday Program, Alviso Library Reading Programs, Alviso Youth Center Programs, Wilcox High School JV and Varsity Girls Soccer Program, the Alviso Soccer Program and the Santa Visits Alviso Scholarship Program. Without your continued generosity and support we would be unable to provide these services to the community.
