Peg O'Malley

Peg first became involved with the Santa Visits Alviso Program about 17 years ago when she and her husband, Sean, along with Judy and Joe Santiago (Mr. & Mrs. Claus) and another family, "adopted" a family for the Holidays through a local church.  Santa, Mrs. Claus and their Elves would visit the family just prior to Christmas with stockings, pajamas, toys and a gift certificate to the supermarket.  She also coordinated holiday family adoptions for her office which would also include Mr. & Mrs. Claus, a Spanish-speaking society at a high school in Los Altos Hills and coordinate toy drives for the church.  This practice continued for many years until the church program ended.  Peg also accompanied Joe and Judy to the local homeless shelter and participated in holiday activities at Judy's place of employment. Peg is a senior executive assistant at a Fortune 500 semiconductor manufacturing company in the Silicon Valley, is married and has lived in the Bay Area for 30 years.
