Mike Rodriguez

Mike Rodriguez has twenty years of state government experience working for three state agencies: Board of Equalization; California Conservation Corps; and, the California Public Utilities Commission.  In addition, Mike has over 22 years of local and regional government experience: Planning Commissioner for the City of Santa Clara; Citizens Advisory Committee member for Caltrain; and, Community Working Group member for Bart to San Jose.  In September of 2004, Mike accepted a Senior Management Analyst position working for the Santa Clara Valley Water District.Mike has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Economics, from San Jose State University.  Mike has a Master’s of Public Administration degree from San Jose State University.  Mike is certified as a Malcolm Baldrige Examiner for the California Council for Excellence; additionally, Mike is a certified ISO 9001/14001 Auditor.Mike is a volunteer with the YMCA, American Diabetes Association (ADA), Latinas Contra Cancer, as well as other non-profit community organizations.  Mike also teaches as an Adjunct Instructor for National University.
